Grand Nile Tower

Grand Nile Tower is a five-star, 41-storey hotel on the Corniche El Nile in Garden City, right on the River Nile in central Cairo. The tower opened in 2001, ran as the Grand Hyatt Cairo from 2003 to 2011, then as the Grand Nile Tower, and has been branded Hilton Cairo Grand Nile since November 2024. Its 715 rooms and suites all face the Nile, from king and twin guest rooms and executive rooms to one-bedroom and family suites and the 203 m² Royal Suite, with a work desk, satellite TV, minibar and a marble bathroom.

Dining is a highlight: the revolving restaurant on the 41st floor looks over the Nile and the Cairo skyline, and there are Japanese, Indian, Italian and Egyptian options, plus a private yacht, the Marquise, used for Nile dinner cruises and events. Guests can swim in the rooftop outdoor pool, work out in the gym, relax in the hot tub and spa, or visit the Galleria shopping and entertainment centre with its cinema. There is also a supervised kids' club, room service, a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi and valet or garage parking ($15 a day).

The hotel is about 19 km from Cairo International Airport, and the Egyptian Museum is roughly a 15-minute walk away. Staff speak Arabic, English and French. Guests rate the hotel 8.1 out of 10 from 11,714 reviews on Booking.com, with the location scoring 9.0.
